Something to SHOUT About!

Finally, after months of searching through a endless mirage of news articles and magazine clippings, Internet sites, and any other form of media known to man at present; our team of news researchers and analyzers has finally found something TSS worthy to shout about!
(drumroll please....)
......
....
.........
(thank you)
.....
Mr. Stephen Smith received a clear pass for all four of his PhD comprehensive exams!!!
I have never known a day (nor will I probably ever) when he has not been in school! He truly has inherited his baby brothers academic genes seeing as his baby brother has not been blessed with them!
For more Information on this mile marker achievement please visit here & here!
In other news, I the editor of TSS, have just completed my final examination for high school mathematics! I am utterly ecstatic!

SBHC Ministry Party

Dear Readers, this past Thursday evening, divisions of the SBHC Ministry Departments came together to enjoy an evening of fellowship. The evening ran rather smoothly with 37 attendees present. A diverse geographical representation was present with persons as far away as Detroit and Chicago in attendance.

However, as the evening progressed, things started to take a turn for the worse. Who ever heard tell of such a vicious game called UNO ATTACK? Do you know what can happen when you get 3 or 4 intense human beings involved in a vigorous game of Pit?! watch.

When the smoke had cleared...and the bodies were properly disposed of....one attendee went to the Intensive Care Unit.....and one rather intense player of the game Pit, promptly rushed to the ER. (honest!)
Finally, after the house was repaired as best as it could be (the blood stains on the carpet will just have to wait), I looked back on the evening and came to the shocking conclusion that a very high percentage of those in attendance had a "delightful" experience!?!
 Happy New Year!!

Home....Sweet Home!

There's nothing quite like being in a foreign country. Foreign food, foreign people, foreign money, foreign language, foreign cities, foreign customs, foreign culture, just a totally "foreign" feeling (if you read what i'm saying!). However....there is nothing quite like beign back home again in Indiana!! Ahhh....so much I could say of the land "South of the Border" but as they say: "a pictures worth 1000 words". Check out my Mexico Photo Album as well as my Oacaxa Photo Album. Also Be sure to check out the Shelbyville Hispanic Ministry blog for more info.

Chapter Ended

It is with great joy and, yet might i add, i twinge of sadness, that i inform you of yet another chapter closed in my young life. Alas, my 10+ year tenure as student prodigy of the Mistress Mildred Hamilton has come to an end today. With bitter-sweet memories i write this eulogy of my years as an indentured servant. As it is in every life, every good thing must come to an end. Who knows, maybe i shall now have more time to devote to the Shouter? Only time will tell. But until then, i shall enjoy my "retirement" and, alas...my FREEDOM!

Clinton Visits Shelbyville

The solitude of the lazy Sunday afternoon was interrupted yesterday as Bill Clinton paid a little visit to our town yesterday.

Good ol' Billy, first-man wannabee. He'll show them how to decorate the white house!
